The boxes & projects are designed for elementary age children – roughly 5-11. If your child is on the younger end, they will need more parent involvement that older children do. Many of our customers have kids ranging from 5-17 & they report that each child can work at his or her own level.

Each box contains a picture book that relates to the project to inspire & set a context, written easy-to-follow directions with a QR code & link for a resources page with video tutorials and other resources, and all of the art supplies needed for the project. We assume you have regular pencils & scissors. Art supplies are full size – not sample sizes.

Our digital memberships are the same great projects but all delivered digitally. Each month you receive a new project with resources & videos. We give you a list of necessary supplies with links to purchase only what you need from Amazon while also giving you suggestions for using what you have at home already, like “We used watercolor for this project but if you have tempera or acrylics those will work too!” The digital membership is available in pre-paid or month-to-month options just like the boxes.

Individual boxes ship within a couple of business days. Subscriptions ship every month on the 7th, or if the 7th is a weekend or holiday, they’ll ship on the next business day. When you first subscribe, if you purchased a prepaid subscription & we have stock in the current month’s box, we’ll get one out to you right away. If you’re a month to month subscriber & we have stock in the current month’s box, we’ll give you the option of getting your first box right away because then we’ll have to move your renewal payment up so that you’re charged again before the next monthly shipment. During the holiday season we ship every week day through December 16th!
